This scanner is a great tool for listening to weather, info from storm spotters or to listen to the local action from Police, Fire and EMS. It decodes DMR, P25 Phase I and II . The scanner only weighs 2.5 LBS. It can be used in a vehicle using the supplied 12 volt power cord and mounting brackets. The display section of the unit is removable to make installation and use easier.

The unit has 200 scan lists and 20 scan sets to organize your custom programming. The unit is SD card based. This scanner has many ways to be programmed. You can even program it by zip code. Simple and easy to setup and use. The scanner is a great addition to any radio communication setup.
